Therapy Approaches
Therapy with me is about your whole self—mind, body, spirit, and story.
Because healing doesn’t happen on the surface. It happens in the deeper layers—gently, skillfully, and at your pace.
I use a blend of evidence-based, somatic, and intuitive modalities. These aren’t cookie- cutter techniques. They’re flexible, trauma-informed tools that meet you where you are and help guide you back home to yourself.
How healing happens…
Brainspotting + EMDR
Healing where words leave off
-
When you “get it” in your head but still feel stuck
When talk therapy hasn’t touched your pain
When your reactions surprise you and you don’t know why
-
A brain-body-based approach that helps access and process trauma beneath words and thought. Using eye position, nervous system cues, attunement, and bilateral stimulation, we help your brain complete what’s been frozen or stuck, gently and at your pace.
-
Trauma
Anxiety or panic/freeze
Chronic stress
Grief or shame
Emotional flashbacks
Nervous system dysregulation
Stuck self-worth
-
No forcing. You move at your pace. I follow your system. We let the healing unfold through presence and attunement.
We don’t force. We flow.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
All your parts are welcome here
-
You feel like a walking contradiction
You’re stuck in self-sabotage or shutdown
There’s a part of you you’ve been fighting for years
-
IFS helps you meet the many voices inside—the protector, the critic, the exile, the caretaker—with curiosity, not shame. This model gives language and compassion to your inner world, and helps you reconnect with your wise, steady Self.
-
Inner conflict and confusion
Self-criticism and internalized shame
Patterns that feel impossible to shift
-
We build relationship with each part of you, one at a time, until they begin to soften and trust your Self to lead.
Emotionally Focused & Attachment-Based Therapy
Because the wounds happened in relationship—so does the healing
-
You crave closeness—but also feel smothered or trapped by it
You over-function, people-please, or emotionally disappear in relationships
You shut down, spiral, or get reactive—and then beat yourself up about it
You’re stuck in the same conflict loops, even with all the self-awareness
You’re trying to parent or partner differently—but old patterns hijack the moment
You’re tired of feeling too much, not enough, or like you always have to earn your place
You long for relationships that feel safe, mutual, and nourishing (but wonder if that’s even real)
-
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps you tune into what’s really happening beneath the conflict: the fear, the need, the old story about what love requires. We make space for the deeper emotional truths that shape how you relate to others—and yourself.
-
Inner conflict and confusion
Self-criticism and internalized shame
Patterns that feel impossible to shift
-
We don’t just talk about emotions. We feel them—safely, together—so they can shift.
Spiritual Integration
For the parts of you that crave meaning, purpose, or soul-level healing
-
You’re healing from religious harm or disconnection
You feel drawn to spirituality but don’t fit in any box
You’re craving deeper meaning or soul-aligned healing
-
Spiritual integration invites your beliefs, dreams, grief, and longings into the therapy room-without pressure or dogma. It’s about finding what feels most real and alive for you.
-
Identity shifts, big transitions, or the sense that you’re becoming someone new
Existential ache, spiritual disconnection, or crisis-of-purpose territory
Meaning-making after loss, change, or unraveling
Integration of non-ordinary states—psychedelic, spiritual, or otherwise
Rebuilding trust in yourself, your intuition, or what you believe
Wanting more depth, direction, or connection
-
We honor whatever you bring—curiosity, questions, reverence, doubt—and co-create a space where all parts of your belief system can be seen and supported.
Somatic & Nervous System Work
Your body holds the story—and the wisdom
-
You feel anxious, numb, or wired
Conflict shuts you down
It’s hard to tell what you’re feeling—or why
-
Somatic therapy helps you reconnect with your nervous system’s signals—your breath, your gut, your knowing. Not everything can be solved with insight. Sometimes, the body needs to feel safe again.
-
Chronic stress and overwhelm
Anxiety and shutdown patterns freeze/collapse states
Difficulty staying grounded or present
-
We follow your body’s cues. Grounding, breath, sensation—whatever helps bring you back into connection with yourself.
You Don’t Have to Know Any of This to Begin
You don’t need to pick a modality or know the terms. You just need to want something to shift—and be open to the process.
I’ll meet you where you are. And together, we’ll find what helps.
